Countryside is a wooden building set inspired by summer in the country. It combines simple, child-like shapes with complex geometric forms, painted in rich yet natural, muted tones.
It is an ideal set for storytelling and open-ended play. Children can compose flat scenes inside the wooden frame or stack the pieces into 3D storytelling sets. A kaleidoscope of blue sky pieces frames a countryside landscape: a calm lake, green fields, treetops, a sun, a crescent moon, a resting cat, and houses with roofs, windows, and arched doorways.
Handcrafted from solid linden, each piece is hand-sanded smooth. The water-based matte finish retains a subtle wood texture, providing a non-slip grip when stacking.
